Nuumoon® Orthodontics

The Numoon practice is dedicated to the functional and aesthetic harmonization of dento-maxillofacial development, at all ages of life. We offer our expertise to children, adolescents, and adults, by i ntegrating a holistic approach that combines health, comfort, balance, and aesthetics.
More and more orthodontists recommend early evaluations from a young age, but our role doesn’t stop there: each stage of life deserves special attention. Childhood and adolescence are key periods for guiding growth, but in adulthood too, it’s possible to provide adapted functional and aesthetic solutions.

WELCOME TO NUUMOON, WHERE EXPERTISE, PASSION, AND PROFESSIONALISM COMBINE FOR THE SMILE AND HEALTH OF THE WHOLE FAMILY
A Shared Vision, from Function to Form, for all Ages
Nuumoon® was born from the shared vision of Drs. Emmanuelle Rioux and Josepha Balland: a demanding university education where the functional aspect is an integral part of the diagnosis and treatment of malocclusions and skeletal disharmonies. Driven by this philosophy — and by their perspective as mothers — they created a brand and a place where they would want their own children to be treated.
Our founding belief: form cannot be separated from the function that shapes it. Correcting a dental malposition without re-educating breathing, tongue posture, swallowing, or muscle tone risks an incomplete or unstable result.
From this vision, Nuumoon® was born: a global care concept bringing together, under one roof, an orthodontics hub (children, teens, adults) and a center dedicated to oro-myofunctional re-education. Each patient is cared for according to a simple principle: function is the key to balanced anatomy and lasting treatment. The myofunctional center naturally extends this approach in a warm environment, designed for the child’s active engagement, parental trust, and a strong therapeutic alliance.
Our expertise is built upon a cohesive multidisciplinary team: orthodontists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and yogatherapy specialists. Together, we build personalized protocols around four pillars: Ventilatory Re-education (major impact on growth), Tongue Posture, Swallowing, and Lip & Cheek Musculature.
Objective: harmonious growth, improved quality of life, and lasting well-being.
Looking to the future, the Nuumoon® team is committed to sharing its integrated protocols and training other professionals who wish to establish centers inspired by the same spirit and high standards — for the well-being of a growing number of children… and adults.
